鹼質與粒料反應
定義: 存在於砂漿或混凝土的波特蘭水泥或其他材料中的鹼含量(鈉、鉀成分)與粒料之間產生化學反應。
鹼質與粒料反應可分為鹼-碳酸鹽反應(ACR) 或鹼-氧化矽反應(ASR)。在鹼-碳酸鹽反應(ACR),鹼含量(鈉、鉀成分)與碳酸鹽石材,特別是方解石質白雲石與白雲石質石灰岩等,兩者之間產生化學反應;而在鹼-氧化矽反應(ASR),鹼含量(鈉、鉀成分)與蛋白石與燧石、應變石英、酸性火山玻璃熔岩之矽酸鹽石材或礦物之間產生化學反應。
Alkali Aggregate Reaction
Definition: chemical reaction in either mortar or concrete between alkalies (sodium and potassium) from portland cement or other sources and certain constituents of some aggregates.
Alkali-aggregate reactions can be either alkali-carbonate reactions (ACRs) or
alkali-silica reactions (ASRs). In ACR, the reaction is between the alkalies
(sodium and potassium) and certain carbonate rocks, particularly calcitic
dolomite and dolomitic limestones, present in some aggregates. In ASR, the
reaction is between alkalies and certain siliceous rocks or minerals, such as
opaline chert, strained quartz, and acidic volcanic glass, present in some
aggregates.
